Prior to Libra season, there is Virgo season. Virgo season meaning has the energy of refinement, encouraging us to give more attention to details.

After Virgo season is Libra season which is the perfect transition for taking those attention to details and using the attention for what feels beautiful. Libra season is the shift of summer quietly transitioning into fall season. The air feels cozier, children are back in school, evenings come earlier and holidays are around the corner.

We all naturally experience each of the zodiac seasons as the months change, so you don’t have to have that specific Zodiac sign in your chart to enjoy what that season brings.

In this blog post I’m sharing how we can all embrace Libra season and what it means to lean into Libra vibes.

When Is Libra Season?

Overall, Libra season starts in late September, landing on the first day of the fall season, opening the fall equinox, when day and night are nearly equal in length. Libra season ends in late October, just before Scorpio season begins. The exact first day can shift slightly from year to year.

A zodiac season describes which zodiac sign the Sun is currently traveling through. We all move through twelve of the zodiac seasons every year, so Libra season belongs to everyone, the same way Virgo season did. It’s up to you if you want to lean into it or just go with the flow.

Venus Is the Reason This Season Feels Different

Did you know?

Every zodiac sign has a ruling planet.

Libra’s ruling planet is Venus. The planet Venus is associated with beauty, pleasure, aesthetics, love and the parts of life that feel especially lovely.

Another fun fact. Did you know?

Venus also rules the zodiac sign, Taurus, which is why both seasons share an appreciation for beautiful surroundings and thoughtful details.

Libra season is an invitation to prioritize how your surroundings, routines and plans look and feel.

In comparison, Virgo season brought attention to organization and thoughtful details. Libra season carries that energy into the atmosphere of your space and the beauty of your everyday life.

Venus rules love, beauty and the way a space or plan feels. In Libra, Venus leans toward harmony, beautiful details and relationships that feel fair.

For a few weeks, "because it is pretty" can be a complete answer- especially if it feels beautiful and balanced because that’s the Libra way.

What Libra Energy Is About

As mentioned, Libra is well known for balance, harmony and a gorgeous eye for style.

The Libra theme I love most is choosing what deserves your yes and giving everything else permission to wait.

Libra is a cardinal sign, which means it initiates and starts things. Overall, the Libra invitation is to decide what balance looks like for you, then create more of it on purpose.

Ask yourself:

What feels worth making space for this month, and what would make my week feel lighter and lovelier?

That question can guide your calendar, your home, your relationships, your beauty routine and the plans filling your month. Apply it to your lifestyle in the areas you want to make beautiful.

If you enjoyed leaning into the Virgo season meaning then you can use those reflections and experience for Libra season too.

I love to think of Libra season as a season for making life lovely and making it fair, more balanced for me. Those two ideas fit together perfectly and are so Libra!

A Soft Luxe Reset for Your Space

Venus rules this Libra season, so start where you spend the most time- that’s likely your home. Remember, Venus is the planet of love. What do you love about your home (or space)? What would you change?

There are so many ways to revamp your home so that you can fall in love with it again and remember why it’s hopefully one of your favorite places for self care.

Here are a few ways to lean into Libra season and create a soft luxe reset for your space:

First change the lighting.

Lighting can completely change the mood of a room, and it can be as easy as switching on a lamp and lighting a candle. Warm bulbs create an especially cozy evening atmosphere. Also, visit your local hardware store and explore lighting options. I prefer natural lighting and a soft lamp light once the sun goes down.

Research found that bright room light before bed delayed melatonin release in almost everyone studied and shortened melatonin production by about ninety minutes. Softer evening light may help create a gentler wind down.

Next, add a beautiful texture.

Drape a gorgeous throw over the arm of the sofa, switch in a pillow cover you love or choose a rug that makes the room feel more finished.

In other words, Libra season is made for style like adding beautiful layers and texture.

Then give yourself one beautiful surface.

First, style a tray on one of your most used counters. Ideally, it should contain the products you reach for daily. In the kitchen this may be extra virgin olive oil, bee pollen, or chia seeds.

A pretty tray on the counter turns everyday skincare into part of the decor. Rotate a favorite back in. Bring a favorite product back into your routine and enjoy rediscovering it.

This is one of my favorite ways to decorate while still bringing functionality to the space because I can display all my pretty, but useful everyday items.

For example, place flowers in a pretty vase or add a cute jewelry dish for your rings. Be intentional about allowing one surface to exist because it makes you happy to look at it.

Create a clean visual moment.

Libra is stylish so let’s continue styling and making our spaces beautiful!

Next, choose a spot your eye naturally lands on and style it with intention. A chic chair, an organized stack of books that look nice together (and maybe you truly plan to work through) or neatly hidden cords can make the whole room feel more polished.

Research found that women who described their homes as cluttered or unfinished tended to have flatter daily cortisol patterns, while women who described their homes as restful tended to have healthier patterns. Clearing one surface and making that spot beautiful can be a simple way to create a calmer visual moment at home.

Liven up the place.

Also, fresh flowers or a plant add another lovely layer to the space and is a great way to lean into different aspects of your wellness. Venus energy pairs perfectly with anything lush and growing. Not to mention, Libra’s ruling planet, Venus, is the planet of love.

Caring for a living plant is another way to pour love into your space and nurture something that can thrive with consistency and care.In one small study, people who repotted a plant had lower blood pressure and a calmer stress response than people doing computer work. A hands on plant moment fits beautifully into a soft luxe reset.

The Libra Season Beauty Edit

If any zodiac season deserves a “beauty moment”, it is Libra season because the zodiac sign, Libra, is ruled by the planet Venus.

As a result, Libra season is a wonderful time to return to the products you enjoy and notice which parts of your routine feel especially luxurious.

Here Are Some Ideas On Where To Start

Beauty means inside and out. That’s the harmony of the Libra season. In fact, Libras are great at not just being stylish, but creating the complete package when they get ready. That means looking great, smelling good, truly being clean and styled thoughtfully. So Libra season carries those Virgo details and uses it as an opportunity to be beautiful and stylish.

Well with Brielle Tip:

Want to also lean into the stylish beauty energy of Libra season?

Here’s a simple way! Choose your signature scent for the season or overall your go to. Fragrance fits the Venus mood and stylish Libra vibe perfectly. Select a perfume, body mist or body cream you enjoy and let it become part of your everyday atmosphere.

For a cleaner beauty routine, fragrance options with thoughtfully chosen ingredients are easy to find and can still feel beautifully luxe.

Additionally, Libra loves balance and in my opinion they carry the Virgo spirit of having attention to detail - meaning in their own endeavors they go at the pace necessary and do not stop until they believe it's a job well done.

To lean into this Libra energy of getting things done right, slow down for one step and really pay attention. This pairs beautifully with some of the practices in How to Make Skincare Feel Like Meditation. For Libra season, let the focus lean more toward beauty and enjoying the ritual. Look in the mirror to admire your beauty.

For instance, try a face mask, a hair treatment or painting your own nails. Leave yourself enough time to enjoy the experience. For more ideas, read How to Make Skincare Feel Like Meditation.

The key to making this a part of your lifestyle is to do it regularly and make it naturally fit into your everyday routine. In turn, a luxe everyday routine blends Virgo season refinement with Libra season beauty, carrying thoughtful details forward in a more polished, romantic way.

Balance Starts With Your Calendar

Libra is well known for its balancing scales. Some people will say they are balanced. In contrast, I believe (my experience has been) that it's the balance they seek. Regardless, libra represents balance and beauty.

We can all lean into Libra’s balance, especially via our calendar. What we choose to do each day and how we live is what creates our life. Your calendar likely helps you organize that lifestyle, so a more balanced, beautiful month can start with looking at your ideal week and arranging it with intention.

Libra season picks up where Virgo season leaves off, so if you missed the reset, start with Virgo Season Meaning: Your Easy Reset Guide.

To begin with this exercise, open your calendar.

Then look at the next two weeks of your calendar to explore where you’d like to bring more balance and beauty.

Where would you love more breathing room? Which evening would feel especially good left open? What plan are you excited about and want to give more space to?

Surely, there are opportunities to bring in some Libra energy. More beauty and balance! Adjust your schedule based on what felt realistic (virgo vibes) and what will bring beauty, as well as, balance to your overall lifestyle. In reality that could look like canceling, rescheduling or even adding to your calendar. Remember to keep balance in mind so the beauty can happen without the overwhelm!

As a result, intentional plans or a timeframe kept OPEN on purpose, just for you can become one of the prettiest parts of your week.

Libra Season and the People in Your Life

Partnership is Libra territory, and that includes friendships, family and whoever you text most. Many people even say that Libras prioritize harmony, often calling them people pleasers. Honestly, I do have some experience with Libras and I can't attest but, it’s worth noting.

How can you bring more harmony to the relationships that mean the most to you or need to take up less energy and time?

Libra season is a lovely season to be intentional about connection.

Who are you excited to spend more time with? Which friend have you been meaning to call? Is there a thank you you have been wanting to say?

Libra season is also a sweet reminder that fairness includes being fair to yourself. Give your warmest yes to the plans and people that feel right for you, and let your choices reflect the relationships you want to nurture.

Libra Vibe is to Decide, Then Enjoy It

Libra loves weighing every option (hence the scales), which makes this a lovely time for choosing with care and intention.

Once you have considered what feels right, choose your favorite and enjoy it.

Choose the scent, the home decor, the schedule that feels beautiful but also balanced.

Above all, Libra season invites you to choose the pretty, balanced option and enjoy it!

Beauty and balance especially when committed to action is such a lovely way to move through the Libra season.

For a few weeks, “because it is pretty” can be a complete answer.
